On MR we have Threads to separate discussions. IRL, on the web, how are different channels separated?

You can (presumably) make your own channel if you want.
Actually, things are quiet enough I've just been on the main channel once to help someone in real time with their device.

11th gen is a PW5 which is a 6.8" screen.

The PW4 is a disaster as Amazon made the screen terrible. It was very much noticeable compared to the PW3.

Different windows.

For different chats in a book, could be just the regular single column. But in order to know what chat you are in, when the chat changes, put in a header that says where you are. This works and is easily able to be followed.

I think the columns for different chats in the ebook are meant to represent the separate windows or tabs you would see on a screen IRL. The columns are offset in an attempt to show the timing of the chats as they relate to each other. It's clumsy and very poorly done. The rest of the book isn't worth struggling through IMO, so I have given up.

Yes, that's exactly why she did that. I am going to try to sit here and think of a better mousetrap for it. I'm not wild about Wolfie's idea (sowwy, Wolfie, you knows I wuvs you!), so...there's gotta be a better way. GOTTA BE.

The PW4 isn’t a disaster. Hyperbole much? Compared to the PW3, it’s waterproof, lighter, has a flush screen and Bluetooth. You may prefer the PW3, but the PW4 has relative advantages. All told, I think the PW4 is a nicer device.

I think JSWolf's idea could work fine, maybe with some indents to make it easier to see which chat is which at a glance. So:

Big group chat:
InnocentVictim: Let's have a picnic!
EvilVillain: Great idea, I'll bake muffins. Let's go to the beach by the standing stones, that's a nice place.

Inner circle chat:
EvilVillain: Ugh, I hate InncocentVictim. Dibs on stabbing them!
EvilVillainBoss: Do we have enough sacrifices for the ritual? We need at least five to summon the Great Noseless One.

Big group chat:
EvilVillain: How many of your friends will be coming, InnocentVictim? I want to make sure I bring enough muffins!

Super secret chat:
EvilVillain: OK, everyone, remember: The chocolate muffins are poisoned, stick to the blueberry ones.

The screen is only marginally less bright with no front light and can only be noticed on a side by side comparison with the PW3. The only real disadvantages are those that all Kindles have due to Amazon GUI and software features which they could fix tomorrow if they wanted to.

Yes, the indents would certainly aid and abet reader comprehension. I was thinking that there are more than a mere handful of pages that do have 3 columns of discussions and how that would be best handled. I just need to chew on it. Hell, for all I know, maybe this is the best way (I honestly don't believe that...) but...

I will say that the remainder of the book, though, thus far, is a Masterclass in revenge through authorship. :-)
