I see them now, might have been the computer I was looking at. Thanks for posting.

Those are quite pretty however I'd rather have a full-sized handbag with room for my other stuff, mobile, wallet, sunglasses, makeup, etc., with an integrated pocket big enough for a reader. That might also appeal to people who regularly carry a paper notebook with them, something the size of Moleskine journal. With netbooks getting popular, that's another interesting segment to consider.

Ok, so I finally broke down and got my Borsa Bella bag. I opted to go with the naked sleeve since I quite often find myself reading the K2 naked. I did the Mocha sleeve with a top zipper. I can't wait to receive it because I have heard nothing but good reviews regarding these nifty bags. Thanks Octo for keeping us in the know on Borsa Bella. Will post when I receive it.

After reading my post I realized how it sounded. Let me clarify: I often like to read the K2 without a cover (naked). Didn't want to confuse anyone (I am literally cracking up as I type this post)

Antwerp book fair Boekenbeurs in 2004 had a naked reader on their posters.
http://2004.boekenbeurs.be/ (might be NSFW for some, though in Antwerp it was displayed on the streets...) |

Well there's over 300 available as ebooks, about 200 or so of them free, public domain books (which I either get from Sony or here on MR). Those are the ones I'm focusing on first. I've had a few where I've bought the pbook (like Rebecca) or got it at the library (Dirk Gently) because they weren't available as ebooks and I wanted to read them sooner rather than later.

I just placed an order for one of her Kindle Travel bags: The Off White Oleander Travel Bag.
I also requested a custom order for one of her Let's Do Lunch handbags, but with the Off White Oleander material. I have high hopes that the smaller of the two interior pockets will fit my Kindle well, though if not, I can always take the strap off the travel bag and carry it inside the purse. edit: Just talked to her via email, and the pocket ISN'T big enough, but she may be able to modify it to fit with my Amazon K2 cover. Melissa is Awesome! As soon as they get here, I'll post pics, too. :-) Last edited by Danariel; 05-28-2009 at 04:17 PM. |
