And that's appropriate! A resume is a summary of your education and work experience. By the way (no, I will not use an acronym - my daughter says I'm not allowed as I am over the legal age of usage (whatever that means)), I am so jealous that you are all getting together in Paris. I wish I could come, too! Kaz |

Kaz: I think your daughter is trying to say that you've passed your "sell by date." My nieces and nephews tell me this all the time. Xenophon |

Just to confuse matters, there's also the 2CV - a very cute, old car Quote:

True, the DS is far more stylish than the 2CV - well, with the exception of the Break version of the DS which looks pedestrian. And a minus mark to the 2CV is that for a while some of the ones for the UK market were made in Slough (of the "come friendly bombs and rain on" fame...) |

Ok here's my question: how many vodka sprites at a wedding open bar does it take to get me drunk? Answer: four. Bdfalleeeeghhhhh I wanna go to bed but the room is kind of spinning. And my feet are swollen and hurt real bad |

Not to mention, although I think I already have, I'm from Chicago and tend to be a bit brash, so she generally steers clear of pressing too many of my buttons! Quote:
I keep telling her that is why the phone was invented, so that we didn't have to sit down and write letters! Never mind the fact that I teach language to elementary students and am constantly correcting spelling and grammar mistakes. It goes against my sense of purpose to use acronyms so blythely! Okay! Now I really do sound like an "old fogey"!! Quote:

but the DS is really in a class of its own. it had hydraulic suspension (many citroën models do) so when you started the motor the whole thing would rise up a little before you got going, and then when you parked it it would slowly lower closer to the ground. they're famous for allowing you to change a wheel without a jack. and i don't know about james bond (although i could easily imagine a young sean connery in a ds... miam !), but ex-french president Charles de Gaulle drove a DS. | |
