Finally, the latest release works fine on both my Libra and Clara hd, just out of the box... no tweaking needed!
Just a few times, I've experienced random crashes on closing the app and going back to nickel: a reboot was required!

do you happen to know why this is breaking nickel ? As side from the breaking this seems like a good way to find a solution to our problem, getting the UMR to work on Libra 2

Actually, it's a good suggestion I will include that in the next release.

Glad to hear it.

The UMR will change screen BPP from 32 to 8 bit for increased performance. It should also change it back on exit, even if it crashes. Should that fail for some reason (but no idea why it should) nickel will look glitched out, until you reboot.

Hello,

I recently bought a Kobo Libra 2 and found out about Ultimate Manga Reader. I managed to install it no problem, however it has touch input issues. Looking at the changelog of recent releases it seems that this problem shouldn't exist, unless I'm misreading something. Can anyone help me please?

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Currently only works with the first gen Kobo Libra H2O. Even to get the first gen to work, it took a nice developer with the device around 2 years for the touch input to work for the first gen libra. Until a dev with the 2nd gen Libra gets to play around with the device, you will just have to wait.

All right, thank you very much for the insight! For now I already arranged another way to read manga on my Kobo, but I will be hopeful that one day this app will work on it since it's so convenient.

So I'm on my kobo forma and I'm getting all kind of errors that change with the source I try to use:
- Mangadex: download error: host api.mangadex.org not found
- MangaHub: Download timeout
- MangaPlus works
- MangaTown: every manga shows up as having no chapters
- Mangakakalot: Download timeou
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

May I ask you how you figured it out? Do you simply put the cbr/cbz in the ebook reader memory?

Thanks

I've been using Tachiyomi on my phone and Koreader for my Elipsa. Tachiyomi is set to download cbz, Koreader runs an sftp server and is set to open the next file on completion. I use a file manager that supports sftp (Material Files) to schmoog over any chapters that have text that's too small to read on my phone. It works well and there are more sources available. I'd prefer to have a more seamless experience of course but this seems to work pretty well for me so far.

I am using Kobo Aura One. After installing this ultimate manga reader, all the .png files from .adds/qt directory are showing up under My Books on the device. How do I stop them from showing up?

Plug your Kobo into the computer. Go to .kobo > Kobo and edit the file Kobo eReader.conf. If you are using Windows, install a text editor such as Notepad++ to preserve the line endings as they are. Find the FeatureSettings section and add in the code shown below. Reboot your Kobo and reinstall Ultimate Manga Reader. This will fix the problem and directories starting with a period will not be scanned.

Code:
[FeatureSettings]
ExcludeSyncFolders=(\\.(?!kobo|adobe).+|([^.][^/]*/)+\\..+)

I'm waiting for my Forma 2 to arrive.
@OfficerAction I would gladly help with testing the touchscreen issues, I have programming skills but no experience with c++

@axiel7: Are you perhaps from the future? ^^

(There's no such thing as a "Forma 2" . Perhaps you meant the Sage?).
