![]() I'm watching season 3 of "McDonald and Dodds". The 1.5 hour format allows for more twists and red herrings than the usual 42 minute mysteries. Plus they're a bit more binge-proof. It's easy to talk myself into " just another 42 minutes," but "just another hour and 29" is a bit of a hard sell. ![]() Last edited by DiapDealer; 08-23-2022 at 10:17 PM. |

Locke & Key couldn't really interest me, I might continue in the future, or I might not.
Instead I've been catching up on Fright Club and last night I watched a documentary about the Amityville house on YouTube. Tonight I saw the movie poster for Hocus Pocus 2, it's got the three witches with the moon in the background. One is flying on a broomstick, one on a Dyson and the third one is standing on two Roombas. I think that's really funny. |

Watched the first episode of "Annika" on PBS. I adore Nicola Walker, but I just don't understand why she's turning and talking directly to the camera at times on this show. I'm not sure I'll be able continue if that's going to be par for the course.

The only thing I have to say is that the mother improved in season two, in the first season she occasionally wandered around by with a surprised look on her face. In this season she seems to take a bit of control of her life.
I also realized that I just don't really like those kids. I'm not sure what to watch next, there are several series I want to watch, but I'm either saving those for my vacation or I want to wait until all the episodes are released. I might just spend a couple of nights crafting whilst listening to podcasts until I figure out what I wan to watch. |

![]() I think it might fly if they'd just change her (Philosoph|Allegor)ical on-camera soliloquies to a couple of voice-overs at the beginning and the end of the episode. But as it is, watching other characters walk on screen and pretend they didn't just catch her chatting with some unseen audience is a bit painful. |

Last night I finished the two part documentary The Crime of the Century. Which was very interesting.
I'm not sure what series I want to watch, so tonight is movie night. Up first is Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum, which is a South Korean horror movie. After that I might rewatch Session 9 (the only movie or series where I'm not bothered by David Caruso's acting) or maybe Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. |

I watched the first episode-and-a-half of Netflix's twin-swapping limited series mystery/thriller "Echoes" (starring Michelle Monaghan). Unfortunately, I can't seem to muster enough give-a-crap to try and keep all of the convoluted plot lines and twists straight in my head. Plus, the friends and family in the twins' lives need to be really stupid to fall for their games. And since they're clearly not, the whole thing sort of falls apart.

I didn't watch Gonjiam, I think it was on Netflix but I couldn't find it anymore, or on any other streaming I have a subscription for.
So I watched Session 9, still like it, and then played some Sims 4. |

Started watching 'Halo'. It is based on the series of video games, (none of which I have ever played!) and so far is keeping my interest, as a casual sci-fi fan.

We got hooked on Candice Renoir. Unfortunately Acorn only has the first 4 seasons, hope they get the rest someday...
