No they didn't. Nothing about their post gave that impression. All they said was

The documents in the FCC filing show that two versions of the Clara 2E were submitted for testing. A version with 16 GB of storage and another one with 32 GB.

So a 32 GB version of the new Clara 2E could be on the way as well.

I could never go back to a 6-inch as my primary reader, but I'm beginning to think that this device would be tempting as an out-and-about reader rather than having to use my phone. As long as it plays nice with KOReader

could being the key word. if correct the 32GB version will obviously be more expensive.

no i was stating a fact. i've got up to 32GB of storage on my Aura 6" ereader that's 9 years old. why would i want to settle for 16GB=less.

Judging by the looks of the covers/cases, the 2E would have very similar dimensions. I was hoping for a slimmer chin than the current clara hd but i guess behind the chin is where the board is so no hope with that.

And it looks like the to bezel is even thicker than the current Clara (ala ppw4). I am not a fan of that design. A thick chin and similarly sized left, right and top bezels are IMO more pleasing to the eyes.

Having tried the Kobo cover I have for my Libra 2 as a stand, I'd say it's sturdy enough.

I had such a cover for my KAO. It was very sturdy and held the KAO with no problems. So POTENTIALLY it can be a good cover anc certainly worth the added 5$. Someone will have to test this specific iteration.
