Calibre wrongly converts to mobi
Hi,
Since Kindle will not support mobi files any longer, I have changed the output format on Calibre to epub when I send epub files from there to my Kindle.
Still I receive a mail from Kindle saying that I have sent a mobi file. What am I doing wrong?

My guess would be that you didn't change values in "formats" column (add EPUB to be first, to have highest priority) inside "Sharing books by email" section of Calibre settings:

sorry to inturrupt on this one.. but Calibre to no longer support Mobi?? and Kindles accepting ePubs?? When did I miss that????

Amazon no longer accept Mobi files sent via email to a Kindle. They do now accept ePubs. But the ePubs get converted to MOBI/AZW3/KFW by Amazon before being sent to a Kindle device.

Kindles DO NOT support ePub.
