Just installed the new 16 but when I drag the acsm file into Calibre it doesn't convert in epub file, it just remain acsm
Can you give me the latest beta to test (it used to work fine)?
I've tried to cancel all configuration files and install from scratch but it's all the same

There is no beta that's newer than the latest release. Or do you mean one of the earlier beta versions before 0.0.16?

Please send me a debug log of the import attempt. Either run "calibre-debug -g" or click on the arrow next to "Preferences" and select "Restart in debug mode". Then try to import the ACSM file, close Calibre, and post the log file.

Also, make sure the ACSM file is actually called "URLLink.acsm" (or similar) and not just "URLLink".

I meant the 0.0.15 beta which worked fine until I upgraded to 16
Unfortunately I haven't it anymore and I'd like to give it a try
Yes the file is URLLink.acsm
With Calibre in debug mode I get this error
data="E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER
I also got the acsm again from my library but same result

That error has nothing to do with the plugin and the beta is not going to help. It means that this ACSM file has already been downloaded with a different AdobeID.

Did you change your AdobeID while messing around with the plugin, or changed to another anonymous authorization? Or did you accidentally open the file with ADE or on an eReader with a different AdobeID?

The problem was only with that particular book.
I've tried with other acsm and it worked fine

I’ve got the same problem. But the complexity is I deleted my other accounts through adobe itself. Is there a way to overcome this?

The error "E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER" means that the ACSM file you're trying to add is already linked to another Adobe account.

This either means that you bought a new book but opened the file in ADE or on your eReader first before importing it into Calibre; or you re-downloaded an old ACSM for a past purchase and are trying to download it with a different Adobe account.

If you get that error message, there's only two ways to fix that: Either find the old account that the credentials are linked to (if that account is deleted, is a lost anonymous authorization or you don't have the password and can't reset it then that's not possible), or you try to contact the shop where the file is from and ask them to reset it and send you a new unused ACSM file. They might not be willing to do that, though, as they'll have to pay for that.

Thanks for the explanation. That makes sense. It would be one of the two. I deleted those accounts unfortunately. It’s through uni so I might leave it and get someone to download the ACSM under their account. Hopefully that fixes it.

I’ll wait for the link/token to expire and see if that helps. It might reset the token (it’s not paid version, it’s through uni library)

Yeah, if it's like a library loan, then waiting for that to expire and then requesting a new loan usually gives you a clean new file that can be linked to a new account.

Quick heads-up, the current version of the plugin apparently has a bug where returning a book can sometimes cause no book to be returned at all, or worse, can cause the wrong book to be returned to the library.

This should be fixed on the master branch and the fix will be included in the next version of the plugin. As this is a fairly annoying bug, that update will probably come soon-ish, when the bug is confirmed to be fixed.

@Leseratte_10 is not the one in charge of DeDRM.

I can't get the plug in to work. Does not remove the DRM. Used to be much easier prior to Calibre 6, so not sure if it is the DeACSM plug in, NoDRM, the combination of the two, or Calibre 6, and should I just retrograde the whole lot of 'em...
