Riccardino is the 28th, and sadly, the last, Inspector Montalbano book by Andrea Camilleri. It has dropped to £0.99 at Kindle UK.

Kindle UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B092VT3437
Kindle UK/Smile: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B092VT3437

Spoiler:
Quote:
The Sunday Times bestselling, twenty-eighth and final novel in the thrilling, wickedly funny Inspector Montalbano Mysteries series by Andrea Camilleri.

‘Contrary to what you think, I’m carrying out this investigation as best I can. But let’s do this: if I get stuck, if I find I can’t go forward or back, then I’ll let you know, and you can step in. And offer me a way out. You’ve gained a bit of detective work through me, haven’t you? What do you say?’
‘I’m game,’ said the Author . . .

When Inspector Montalbano receives an early-morning phone call it proves to be the start of a very trying day. For the caller expects Montalbano to arrive imminently at a rendezvous with some friends. But before he can reply the caller announces himself as someone called Riccardino and hangs up.

Later that day news comes in of a brutal slaying in broad daylight by an unknown assassin who makes his getaway on a motorbike. And when the Inspector learns of the victim’s identity – a man called Riccardino – his troubles are only just beginning. For soon he must contend with the involvement of a local bishop and a fortune teller who reports some strange goings-on in her neighbourhood.

All roads soon lead to a local salt mine but the case proves stubbornly intractable until Montalbano receives another unexpected call . . .

All seven books in Adrian Magson's Rocco series are £0.99 each, except for the second, which is £1.99. Several of these are new price drops, but some, like the first, are long-term-ish prices. The titles are: Death on the Marais, Death on the Rive Nord, Death on the Pont Noir, Death at the Clos du Lac, Rocco and the Nightingale, Rocco and the Price of Lies, and Death at the Old Asylum. Here are links to the series webpage:

Kindle UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09GF6GR...kindle_edition
Kindle UK/Smile: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09GF6...kindle_edition

And, if you prefer to shop in the US, the first two are $0.99 each and the remainder are $2.99 each, except for the sixth one, which is $3.99 right now. But still not too bad on the pricing. And here are links for the series webpage in the US:

Kindle US: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GF6GRQZ...kindle_edition
Kindle US/Smile: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B09GF6GR...kindle_edition

And finally, the novella, Rocco and the Snow Angel, is £1.99/$2.99 in the US/UK, although that seems a bit expensive to me for 58 pages...

Revenger is the second John Shakespeare book by Rory Clements. (Yep, the older brother of that other Shakespeare...) It's £0.99 at Kindle UK right now. I've read and liked several in this series.

Kindle UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004GKMUFI
Kindle UK/Smile: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004GKMUFI

And in Amazon's strange-and-sometimes-not-wonderful assigning of genre, this is currently the "#1 Best Seller in Booksellers & Bookselling Reference". Sigh!

Spoiler:
Quote:
1592. England and Spain are at war, yet there is peril at home, too. The death of her trusted spymaster Sir Francis Walsingham has left Queen Elizabeth vulnerable. Conspiracies multiply.

The quiet life of John Shakespeare is shattered by a summons from Robert Cecil, the cold but deadly young statesman who dominated the last years of the Queen's long reign, insisting Shakespeare re-enter government service. His mission: to find vital papers, now in the possession of the Earl of Essex.

Essex is the brightest star in the firmament, a man of ambition. He woos the Queen, thirty-three years his senior, as if she were a girl his age. She is flattered by him - despite her loathing for his mother, the beautiful, dangerous Lettice Knollys who presides over her own glittering court - a dazzling array of the mad, bad, dangerous and disaffected.

When John Shakespeare infiltrates this dissolute world he discovers not only that the Queen herself is in danger - but that he and his family is also a target. With only his loyal footsoldier Boltfoot Cooper at his side, Shakespeare must face implacable forces who believe themselves above the law: men and women who kill without compunction. And in a world of shifting allegiances, just how far he can trust Robert Cecil, his devious new master?

Autopsy is the 25th and most recent (2021) in Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta series - at least until the new one comes out in October. It's £0.99 at Kindle UK right now.

Kindle UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08ZHZ5YZC
Kindle UK/Smile: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08ZHZ5YZC

Spoiler:
Quote:
Kay Scarpetta is back, and this time she’s right in the path of danger…

World-renowned forensic pathologist Kay Scarpetta and her husband Benton, a psychologist with the US Secret Service, have returned to Virginia. They are headquartered five miles from the Pentagon in a post-pandemic world that’s been torn by civil and political unrest.

Just weeks into the job, Scarpetta is called to a railway track where a woman’s body has been shockingly displayed, her throat cut down to the spine. But the trail of clues will lead Scarpetta back to her own neighbourhood.

At the same time, a catastrophe occurs in a top-secret lab in outer space, endangering the scientists aboard. Scarpetta is summoned to the White House to find out what happened. As she starts the new investigation, an apparent serial killer strikes again, this time dangerously close to home.

Bye Bye Baby is the most recent (2022) in Ace Atkins' continuation of Robert B. Parker's Spenser series. I'm often not a fan of continuation series, but Atkins does pretty well with the Spenser continuation IMO. Baby has dropped to £0.99 at Kindle UK.

Kindle UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09M857X3Y
Kindle UK/Smile: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09M857X3Y

Spoiler:
Quote:
Boston PI Spenser takes on a new case in this next installment in Robert B. Parker's iconic New York Times bestselling series.

Carolina Garcia-Ramirez is a rising star in national politics, taking on the establishment with her progressive agenda. Tough, outspoken, and driven, the young congresswoman has ignited a new conversation in Boston about race, poverty, health care, and the environment. Now facing her second campaign, she finds herself not only fighting a tight primary with an old guard challenger but also contending with numerous death threats coming from hundreds of suspects.

When her chief of staff reaches out to Spenser for security and help finding the culprits of what he believes to be the most credible threats, Garcia-Ramirez is less than thrilled. Since her first grassroots run, she's used to the antipathy and intimidation women of color often face when seeking power. To her, it's all noise. But it turns out an FBI agent disagrees, warning Spenser that Garcia-Ramirez might be in real danger this time.

It doesn't take long for Spenser to cross paths with an extremist group called The Minutemen, led by a wealthy Harvard grad named Bishop Graves. Although Graves is a social media sensation, pushing an agenda of white supremacy and toxic masculinity, he denies he's behind the attacks. As the primary nears and threats become a deadly plot, it's up to Spenser, Hawk, and a surprise trusted ally to ensure the congresswoman is safe. This is Spenser doing what he does best, living by a personal code and moral compass that can't ever be broken.
