I lost my library after updating to 6.2.1

Hello everyone,
Thanks for reading me and apologize for my bad english (i'm french !). Yesterday, i downloaded the latest update of Calibre (6.2.1) but when i opened Calibre, my library was completely gone ! Did the same thing happen to you and/or do you know how to solve this problem ?? I was using this dear library for several years... Thanks a lot for your answers !

The unwritten 3rd reason was the settings on where it was got reset and the library was not in the current default location (what you are now seeing).

On the Library icon, create/switch:USE EXISTING:<the folder where metadat.db AND your books are>

Thank you very much for your quick and precise answer. For the moment i tryed to do what you proposed but i cannot click on the metadat.db file (i have two files with this name in tow different place but i can't click on either). I will search more and try again tomorrow. Good night !

THE FOLDER IT IS IN is the Library. The one with lots of Author name is the correct one.

Hello, thanks for your post. I tried to choose the good file in the Calibre Library but i just can't click on it (it is grey, not "clickable"). Next to it, there is an other file named "metadate_db_prefs_backup.json". Is it related to this problem?

Your library is the directory where metadata.db and the author directories are. You just select the directory and not any specific file.
