I tried taking image backup of my kobo clara hd card and it failed. I tried different tools and nothing seems to work.
Anyone faced a similar situation? If yes, how did you solve it?

If the issue is on the current card, taking an image of it an using it on another card probably won't help. You will probably be copying the problems from one card to the other. Doing a factory reset might help, but, the supplied image should work on a new card.

Thank you for the image. Real stupid question, should I format the card and flash it with the new image and pop it in?

You need to write the image to the card with the appropriate tool/command. It contains everythingon the card, so formatting it first is a waste of time.

Hi sorry to bother you also with this question but it seems my KoboClara HD is bricked also and doesnt funtion anymore. Could somebody please send me a new image with some small instructions? I know how to write the image and get the sd card. Thank you.

Seems the restoration just kicked in so wont be needing this one. Thank you for the effort.

SD card on my kobo Clara HD just happily died. Read error. I would much appreciate for Image so I can rescue it. Thanks

@Grzego: You need to enable Private Messaging. This is in the "Edit Options" of the control panel. If this isn't there, it has to be added somehow. You can try posting in https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=319819 to ask it to be enabled, or contact a moderator.
