Feature Request: Open url from edit book in browser
Not sure if this was better suited for a subforum, but in the ID box in the edit metadata window contains the "url:link" format which is used for web books/fanfiction.

Is it possible to have a button that opens these links in our browser instead of copying the link, removing the "url:" part and pasting that into our browser. Or is there some plugin or easy way for me to open these links another way?

I don't have any such IDs, but if the link appears in the IDs field in the Book Details panel (like Amazon, Google links etc), what happens if you click there?

Aaah, sorry - you want it in the metadata editor.

No, I don't care if it is in the editor or the book details panel. I did not realize that the ID was clickable in the details panel. I am happy to use the details panel to open the url link.
