Calibre 6.1 Styles not Applying
Just recently downloaded Cablire 6.1 and started adding new files to a project. However, it's not respecting styles and applying them to new files. See attached screenshot.
Please help. Thanks. |

That means that the editor cannot find the stylesheet. It probably means that the new files are not in the same directory as the old files. Check the location and fix it. Or fix the path to the stylesheet.

As you can see in the screenshot, the previous (Ch 59) style sheet link is BLUE which means it's there, in the proper location. When I added the new file (Ch 60) after downloading 6.1 is when it became broken. So I'm guessing the code somewhere in 6.1 is broken, preventing it from accessing the style sheet. I'm just not sure how or where. I'm hoping Kovid can provide a solution if no one else can. EDIT: D'oh! I feel like such a fool now! *kicks self* *facepalm* I did have it in the wrong location... My apologies. Last edited by Foozle; 07-24-2022 at 10:47 PM. Reason: Found the error! |

Use the stylesheet command in the context menu of the file browser to attach the stylesheet.

It was already there. I just realized, after looking at it again, david was right. I just had the file in the wrong location. I looked at it before and thought it was right, but I wasn't looking at the right file. So it's fixed now. I was just being out of it there for a minute.
