Yes, that will be the cause. The system style in Qt uses the edit-clear icon which is the eraser in calibre.

Did you extract the original 436 KB "DeDRM_tools_10.0.3.zip" archive you downloaded and point the plugin loader to the extracted 371 KB "DeDRM_plugin.zip" file that was inside the folder?

Stuck in dark mode
I've just upgraded from 5.44 to 6.1 on Windows 10 build 19044.1826 which is set to system wide dark mode. Calibre is stuck in dark mode, regardless of the setting in the Look & Feel preferences menu. I've tried switching to dark mode and back to light mode and that didn't change anything. My %APPDATA%/calibre/gui.json has the following line:

Starting in debug mode with no plugins enabled didn't change the behaviour.
Any hints on what I could try?

Update on adding books with DeDRM enabled
Update to an earlier post: On macOS 11.6.7, I can now add books to Calibre 6.1 with DeDRM 10.0.3 enabled, which I wasn't able to do with the old plugin and Calibre 6.0. Thanks for the updates to both projects.

Can't Type in Tags Field, in Edit Metadata, 6.1
On Ubuntu 20.04, Calibre 6.1

If you type a comma to try and add a new tag, all you get is the popup list of existing tags. The field won't accept any letters.

If you start typing letters without the comma, it will take them as added letters to the existing tag. If you empty the field and try to add a new tag, you just get the list again.

In the image, I typed ", d". It dis not add "d" to the field, only brought up the "d" section of the list.

EDIT: Tried the Publisher field, and it does the same thing.

Hello,
I've just downloaded version 6 and it seems I can't installed on Mojave.
I couldn't find anything on the release not about MacOS compatibility.
So, if anybody know more about which minimum OSx version is supported and where I can read it from?

So I started in debug mode to see if I could get a log of the behaviour...and it works perfectly in debug mode. I went back and forth several times in different libraries. Debug - enter anything you like; regular start -- only get the list.
