No matter what I ticked or didn't tick there - in the footer I see that there is a new 6.0 version that does not run in 32-bit Windows, including a suggestion to download it.

I have an issue: Since switching to 6.0 "Download Cover" gives no results anymore. (It did in older versions) - I could, though, find images by copying the URL from the "view log" into a browser.

I already entered "the main program" into my firewall options, to no gain.

Any help, please?

What OS are you running and is there a reason you can't run a 64-bit OS?

I was testing my Silk theme, and get FileExistsError with "modified.png" when installing Silk theme from look & feel.

Should I exclude this file? Removing will revert 'Embed Metadata v1.0.0 plugin' toolbar icon even when dark/light exists...

64-bit Windows 10/11 does not run on a 32-bit processor.

config_64bit (folder)? No such beast in my config folder.
Note: I Have uninstalled and then reinstalled (using a fresh download)
Is it possible that that folder was not ever created?

@Deepfire: Your issue is almost certainly something on your computer blocking calibre. Exclude calibre.exe and calibre_parallel.exe

I'm not entirely sure that's a 6.0 issue; I think it started in 5.44. But I'm running into that as well. More specifically, the Amazon & Google Images metadata download plugins stopped finding any covers. And I'm not sure the Amazon metadata plugin finds anything.
