That sounds like a Discovery+ issue, not Amazon. They may not be allowing it to be viewed on Roku devices for some reason. Is your Roku an older one? Maybe it's something like a newer codec was used for that documentary that older Rokus don't support. You might want to try contacting Discovery about the issue instead.

I've run into things like that before. I had to get dad a new Roku because Disney refused to let the Disney+ channel even be installed on his older Roku.

I sent a gift card to myself using the same e-mail address I use for my Amazon account. Maybe they're making a distinction between sending a card and reloading a card.

My main TV is a TCL Roku I bought last Black Friday. The secondary TV has a Roku streaming stick; don't know how old it is, but certainly not ancient. But neither will even show the program through Prime Video.

If I do a search from the Roku home screen, the program shows up as being on the Discovery+ channel, and I presumably could have signed up for a one-week free trial there and accessed it.

I'm about to make my third angry phone call to Amazon, as no one's gotten back to me as promised after the second call.

I gave up on Prime Video's Discovery+ offer after four phone calls couldn't resolve the issue or tell me why I should be having an issue. Since the only show I wanted was the one documentary, I canceled the Amazon order and got a free trial directly from Discovery+, where the program plays just fine.

Just out of curiosity, I would love to know if anyone else has the same problem. Amazon continued to tell me that they haven't gotten other calls about it, which I find baffling.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled Prime Day deals.

I put my credits on my calendar; otherwise I know some would expire without my being aware of it. The whole “spending money to save money” thing is hard work and Amazon takes full advantage of it.

My cynical side says Amazon deliberately keeps these credits hidden in hopes that customers will forget to use them before they expire.

I like that Amazon has been indicating right on the e-book page how many days till digital credits expire when the date starts getting close. The credits for physical purchases are no problem for me; they usually get used right away!

That's not being cynical, that's being a realist. They also are hoping people will order more stuff because of it. Basically someone thinking "Oh, I need to use those credits, I better order something," forgetting they already used them and not looking closely at the checkout page to see there's no credit being applied. A lot of people do both of those.
