Delete all empty Kobo Collections?
I wasn't sure which section to put this question:

How do you delete all empty Kobo Collections (aka Shelves) from Calibre?

Related?
Does Calibre leave empty Author folder/directory if all the titles for that author on the Kobo are deleted?

The KoboTouch driver has an option to delete empty collections.

The series and author lists are built from the names found on the device. If you remove all the books for an author or series, nothing is shown.

Thanks, found that. I suppose it's logical it's there and not in Kobo Utilities were I looked. I'm a bit unwell or I might have found that or remembered it. The empty check box was obvious!

As to directories they have to be deleted manually. That's why I've stopped using the default author directories way back in the Sony Reader days. All my eBooks go into a directory named books.

I might have misinterpreted that bit. But, using calibre to delete a book from the device will delete any empty directories as well. Deleting a book using the Kobo device will not clean up the directories.
