Removing jailbreak?

I'd like to remove the jailbreak of a KOA3 I'd like to return.

If I try to "rm -rf /PRE_GM_DEBUGGING_FEATURES_ENABLED__REMOVE_AT_GMC" I get an "operation not permitted" error even though the FS is mounted rw.

Is there a way I can remove the flag?

If you want to "un-jailbreak", then do the following:

1. Factory reset the device (Settings > Reset).
2. Reinstall the same software update.

You must do BOTH with that order.

The first will remove JB hotfix, and all mods altogether, and the last will remove all 3rd party key(s).

I would like to reproduce the same result since I have a KOA3 but I don't understand why "Update your Kindle" is grey out.
I already reset my kindle but it still grey out. Did I messed up with something ?

Make sure you are using the correct firmware file for your device. It also needs to be either the same version or a higher version. It needs to be placed in the root of your Kindle's storage. If the option is still greyed out, you can restart your device and it will install.

I think because I was in the demo mode. Once I exit the demo mode, I did the reset, update the kindle with the same Fw and jailbroke it correctly.

By the way, if someone interested in the Fw v5.14.2 for KOA3, I still have the file.
