Drizzly here, but fairly warm.

We won't get cherry blossoms until late April or May. Sometimes we take a trip into Boston and have a picnic along the Charles River during cherry blossom season. I make Japanese lunch and we sort of pretend we've made it to Japan during the season.

There are some blossoming trees here on campus. They'll open a week or so after the ones in Boston. I look forward to this time of year.

I'm told it will be in the upper 30's here tonight. If so, I think that would be quite uncommon for early April.

Yup, they're calling for a freeze here tonight too (somewhere else in Texas.) Quite unusual for this time of year.

But we often get all 4 seasons in any given week, so I guess it should be expected. You quickly learn never to pack your seasonal clothes away, except for Spring and Fall. We usually get about 4 hours of Spring and 6 hours of Fall. So for those 2 seasons, we make do with the Summer and Winter wardrobes.

I'm dazzled by all the sunshine today and the warmth! I just sent the Boy and Hubby out for a bike ride and neither of them put on jackets!!! This is only 6 days after it snowed!!!
