Send-to-Kindle IOS Apostrophe issue...
Using Calibre I am trying to send Hunger Games which is in my library as an ePub to my Kindle app on my iPhone. The apostrophes that are in the document are not displaying properly. The ePub does display properly in Calibre. Is there some fix for this?

This problem can occur when an EPUB does not specify the character encoding that is being used for text. Amazon's kindlegen incorrectly assumes by default that the encoding is ISO 8859-1 when it is actually UTF-8. You can fix it by using the "Encode HTML in UTF-8" option of the Modify EPUB plugin for calibre before emailing the EPUB.

I arrived here after experiencing the Send-To-Kindle problem. The ModifyEpub plugin worked perfectly, thanks. However, is this always a manual process or can Calibre be configured to do it automatically?
