KOReader Exported JSON to Markdown

I have created a web-based tool to create markdown from KOReader exported JSON.

The input file/copied JSON in the editor on the left must be valid JSON. You can then copy directly from the pane on the right or download the markdown file.

It also has a settings panel to do some tweaks. You can choose to format highlights based on the marker type you've used while highlighting and select what styles to use for those 4 types of highlights.

It only saves the settings in the browser. No data will be stored anywhere else.

Hmm... this is a tricky one, I don't know of a way to verify what happens to any data you run through such online apps/processing. There may be no risk, but how can you tell?

This one could be for the Greenes to figure out.

It's very easy to verify actually. Open the browser's inspect tool, go to the network tab and notice data transfer while using this app. You'll find only the assets are being loaded by my app. No data will be sent to any server anywhere. Everything is happening in the browser.

It's actually pretty trivial to run the tool on a local Linux machine or host on a Linux server. And you can examine the code here: https://gitlab.com/uroybd/koreader-to-markdown

Also, to add with this, it's a PWA. You can use it offline.
