Why you think a download source that is directly from Amazon, the font owner, doesn't meet your high standards is beyond me.
Ditto. The Bookerly I use doesn't have the issue and I have not altered it.

I don't have that issue. But like you I also don't use Bookerly much. Mostly, I mess with it to make sure it works. Literata Book is my go to font, or Georgia on my Nook.

I figured you didn't have a problem with Bookerly, I was reporting on what I found with the version directly downloaded from Amazon. It's not that big of a deal (for me) because I mostly read ePubs, not KePubs. I do kind of like Bookerly when it has a little weight on its bones. I might find I use it at times.

I have no idea. But, I didn't say anything about WiFi. What I said was that the Bluetooth is no longer automatically turned on when you went to the Bluetooth settings page. Of course using some logic, seeings how the WiFi was turned on whenever Bluetooth was turned on, it probably means that WiFi is not automatically turned on when you visit the Bluetooth settings page. But, it probably is turned on when you turn on Bluetooth.

I don't have a Sage I can test this on, so I will leave it up to you.

I'm just thrilled so far with this update! I've got it on the old Kobo Aura HD and my Kobo Forma, and I plan to put it on the Aura One shortly.

I've been using Literata Book on both Kindle and Kobo, but adjusted a notch or two heavier on the Kindle and have been wishing to be able to do that on my Kobos. Now I can and have!

I know there is a patch, but that always seemed like extra trouble, so cheers to Kobo on this move! I'd rather not have to mess about with patches for every firmware update, especially since I do regularly use both the Aura One and Forma.

Same here. The ones I can't live without are:

- Reduce top/bottom page spacer (especially on my smaller devices)
- Reduce new header/footer height (especially on my smaller devices)
- Dictionary pop-up - increase available text area
- Custom font sizes (especially for badly formatted books)
- My 24 line spacing values
- Increase page navigation history (especially for non-fiction or large fiction books)
- Unify font sizes
- Custom kepub default margins (especially on my smaller devices)

Ones I like, but could do without:

- Only show stats SmartLink
- Remove forgot pin button from lock screen
- Increase size of kepub chapter progress chart
- Custom synopsis details line spacing
- Allow showing info panel on random screensaver
- Allow rotation on all devices
- Remove recommendations (row1col2) from home screen
- Disable all tutorial dialogs
- Custom Sleep/Power-off timeouts

The other patches I use are nice to have, but I wouldn't mind too much if they were gone.

Can confirm in 4.32 the following with Bluetooth

1) Looking at the settings does NOT turn Bluetooth on
2) Turning Bluetooth on does both lag (didn't actually see it turn on as I'd backed out of the setting) AND turns on WiFi
3) Turning off WiFi does not turn off Bluetooth
4) Turning off Bluetooth both lags but for less than time than turning it on did, and does NOT turn off WiFi
5) Turning on Wifi does NOT turn on Bluetooth

Not that I think it really needs to be said, but for any of the above it does or does not automatically do something the reverse state is the current condition. That is to say when disabling WiFi and it not turning off Bluetooth obviously Bluetooth was on, likewise turning on Bluetooth also turning on WiFi obviously WiFi had been off.

Advanced fonts was the only reason I used to patched my Kobo. And then I decided not to bother anymore and read with the fonts on my Kobo.

I'm so happy that it is now a Kobo feature! Finally!

You have to download a 25MB file of all Amazon fonts, but Bookerly is in there.

Or PM me your email address and I'll email you what I use.
The version of Bookerly is not the latest version. That can only be gotten from an Amazon Kindle firmware.

I updated and patched my Libra 2 late last night. I decided to try it without patches for a bit, just to see what the experience is like, but gave up almost immediately. I can't manage without patching at all. But then I've grown very fussy about how my text looks on the screen, I even sold my Nook for this reason and rarely use my Oasis anymore.

I'll update my Sage tonight.
