GAH!!!! I still have an hour to go at work. My head has been nodding ALL day!!!! We had extra bodies at the house last night and my dog kept showing them to me. I told her they were ok. I'm not sure what she ex[ected me to do about them.

My eyes are sooooo heavy! I keep standing up, but then I can't see the computer!

She IS a Search and Rescue Dog. THey were all alive. I think she was on overload.

lol! well, my butt was actually in bed at 8:30 (I must be getting old!), it's not yet 9, kindle kitten is curled up next to me and I am ready to snooze. No extra bodies tonight, so hopefully Miss worry wart will sleep through!

One of our cats gets very distressed if anyone is missing in the household (or even isn't in bed on time). For example, if one of the girls stays overnight at a friend's, he keeps wandering upstairs, coming back down to our room, going out again, & repeat, occasionally yowling disconsolately.

One night he couldn't find the other cat. She often sleeps with us, or sometimes on the couch in the living room, or on the office chair in the living room. She was sleeping on a different chair. I had to get up, turn the lights on, find her, and pick him up and point him at her so he could see where she was. (She, meanwhile, was blinking at me in irritation. "Hey, do you mind? Trying to sleep here.") After that he settled down.

The funniest part is that she's just awful to him. She's rather a bad tempered kitty, and she blames him for everything. But he's not that bright, so if she comes back from the vet, for example, he'll come running up to see if she's ok, and she hisses and snarles at him... this doesn't seem to diminish his interest at all.

We think he may be a sheepdog in a cat's body.
