Tap the light icon. The popup has a slider for the brightness. The icons at each end of the slider adjust the level by 1.

Currently, there are five parts in home screen, "Current Reading", "My Books“, one Collection, "Find your next great read" and "My Articles"(I use patch, so the last two parts may be different from the default ones). Most of the time I use the "Current Reading" part, I can access the rest parts using the tabs at the bottom of the screen.
Right now, only four books are listed in the "Currently reading" part, I really need more on the screen instead of using the "My Books" tab, so is it possible to make a patch that uses all the space for "Current Reading" books in home screen by default. First, thank you for this amazing work. I have just patched my Kobo Libra for the first time and I am amazed what is possible.
I have a request as well. I did not find this in a quick search so forgive me if it has already been asked. Would it be possible to add an option in Library view to display New *and* Currently reading books but NOT Finished books? Currently there is only "All" or one single category, I want to see everything except what I already finished. |

Path request.
In the firmware 4.32 is added the word count, page count. Etc. But is needed to enter in the details to see this values. Is possible to add a new sort option by one of this values? Or if this is difficult, change one of the existing options of sorting to sort by one of this values? Thank's! Enviado desde mi SM-A705FN mediante Tapatalk |

Request: a patch to disable swiping to change pages in notebooks.
Reason is that the palm rejection algorithm is awful. It's really hard for me to use the stylus because inevitably I'm going to touch it with my hand and change the page while I'm trying to write something. It's not that often that I need to change pages anyway, and you can do it with the slider at the bottom of the screen. |

First of all I would like to say thanks to everyone involved in making these patches and updating them. I can't even imagine how many hours went into it.
If it's not too much of work I'd like to request support for code/pre tags to be rendered in monospaced fonts in Pocket Articles. Here's an example article: https://www.guru99.com/python-regula...-tutorial.html In normal Pocket client they render properly but Kobo for some reason just shows them with regular font but smaller, which suggests me that it knows it's not a normal text but still renders using default font, instead monospaced one. Thank you in advance. PS. I am aware that Kobo doesn't come with monospaced font, I do have Courier Prime Code sideloaded but it still doesn't work. Last edited by dotvhs; 04-26-2022 at 03:05 PM. How about a patch to reduce the of menu areas while reading? The bottom one seems rather large and I occasionally (more often than I like) activate it by mistake. I don't use the top menu, so being able to set it to 1 pixel by 1 pixel would work.

![]() If you want edge-to-edge words when reading, just reduce side margins to zero and disable header/footer using standard GUI features. If you're asking for reading top/bottom menus to be "less tall", what are you planning to do with the minimal extra space that might be reclaimed, even if it was possible? Are you asking for reading top/bottom menus to be so small that none of the menu functions are selectable - seriously! |

Interesting that the GUI doesn't even show a top menu! ![]() And to try and be more clear: I'm reading, I tap the bottom center (or top center) - I want to be able to reduce these areas. Seriously. |

Unless I miss my guess, John wants to reduce the size of the area of activation for the bottom menus. Since reducing the menus themselves would do no good anyway as your next touch not in the menu would remove them.

@John F: Have you tried changing the tapzone you use? The second and third reduce the area for menu to a square at the bottom of the screen plus the top of the screen (which isn't shown in the pictures). |
