I haven't test on Android yet. My old android phone can't connect to calibre, looks like a bug in calibre, I'll try another phone.

The book should be sent to the `document` folder in your Kindle device. Can you find the book when you send with calibre's "send to device" menu?

No I cannot, tried both KFX and Mobi of 2 different books. Is it because of the old firmware? v5.3.7.3

Kindle Touch might be too old to support KFX. I don't know what happened if calibre sent the files successfully but the book can't be found. You can't find the book file in the "documents" folder either?

Those books were transferred to my kindle device already but it cannot show them. I was about to try sending through email but I realized that KFX format cant be sent. Too bad.

Even MOBI book doesn't show up? Maybe you need a newer kindle... at least 7th generation

Yea the same for Mobi, I still prefer reading on my mobile phone during transit, more versatile. It would be perfect if there is a way to make it work on mobile.

Kindle Android app requires root permission to add Word Wise file, I haven't tried it and I won't root my phone. If you have a rooted phone, you can use WordDumb to create the files then follow these steps: https://github.com/tmilovanov/wisecr...le-android-app

Give kindle or any e-reader a try, the screen is better than a phone IMO.

Maybe. You can download a word wise enabled book and find where the book and word wise file located, then move the files created by this plugin and the book to there.

Word Wise works fine for that book on my Kindle. Enjoy your new Kindle!

Hi, I got my Paperwhite today and was able to use Wordwise as expected. Two questions
1) Does your plugin use the same wordwise database as Amazon's?
2) Is there any forum/website that share pirate wordwise-enabled ebooks?

WordDumb uses ids of sense table from Kindle's klld file, Kindle finds definition from the same file based on that id.

Kindle doesn't download word wise and x-ray file for pirated books anymore. You can find many shadow library websites on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadow_library

v3.19.0 GitHub release

New features:

Create X-Ray footnotes for EPUB books
Add Democracy Index and locator map image of country/city/state from Wikidata to X-Ray, only EPUB footnotes have locator map

Bug fixes:

Check network errors in macOS subprocess
Fix copy file state error on macOS
Fix error when MTP device is connected

Other changes:

Remove Spanish article from X-Ray entities
Remove `LANGUAGE`, `NORP` and `NAT_REL_POL` NER labels
Add spaCy Norwegian model NER labels
Artifact in GitHub Action is not longer double zipped
