Mini Can I revive it?

Hello, back a few days ago, I had to clean out my office space as our office will change vocation in the coming months. I found out my old Kobo mini. When I tried to start it, it was flashing green so I reset it and it worked, got back to home screen. However, when I tried to put the back panel, it froze (see capture) and e-ink is kind washed out at left. Do you know how I could revive it once again? Reseting it doesn't seems to do the trick anymore, maybe I broke something while putting the backcover? Any ideas? Thanks!

What colour does the light turn if you hold the power for a bit, then plug it in?

It seems to work fine now, just unable to put the cover in, it stays a bit waggled.

Form your OP and this one I would suspect a swollen battery, if it is swollen then you need to replace it.

Might be, I'll unscrew it to see if it's the case. It's been 10 years after all.
