Much to my dismay, so is the Sage, FWIW, where it hurts oh so very much because the sunxi display driver reserves a massive (~142MB, IIRC. I *may* have ranted about it with more details in the past ^^) chunk of it :/.

The only device with 1G of RAM is the Elipsa.

The problem is the capacitance touch layer does show fingerprints. Using IR touch does not show fingerprints. I've not seen fingerprints on my H2O. But I do on my Libra 2.

I too have figured out the perfect solution to the problem of fingerprints on the screen of my reader, one that works whether IR or capacative :

Page turn Buttons.

Unfortunately neither works for me. So buttons are the only way for me.

Nah! The solution that works very well and give the clearest screen is IR.

WRONG! If it was because my hands need to be washed, I would have been seeing fingerprints on my H2O.

The Nook Glowlight 3 screen uses IR. Very nice screen.

I would prefer a return of IR over capacative touch. But I think that horse has already left the stable.

I agree. But without the touch layer, the screen is clearer and does not show fingerprints nearly as much. And no need for extra plastic.

Well, buttons were old-fashioned for a bit before they were made premium. Maybe the same thing will happen with IR touch?

The Oasis 5! Page turn buttons, IR touch and a Pearl screen. The first 'bespoke' ereader. Must have a hipster-beard to purchase.

Totally loving my Libra 2. Been with it a few weeks now and the screen is amazing. It's a beautiful device and the screen size is just perfect.

Getting used to the epub/kepub formats was a task, but I was expecting it after moving from a PW3.

My only complaint would probably be the performance. I've had it restart a couple of times after sideloading books from Calibre. And for some reason, it takes about 3 or 4 seconds to load a new chapter in certain books. I've decided on using the KEPUB format, at least for the time being, I think it has more pros than cons for me.

Reading is a joy in here though, especially at night, warm light is great, and the lighting is very even.
