I'm trying to download metadata which I used to do all of the time. However now I'm getting the following...

Something on your computer mostlikely an antivirus/firewall/security program is killing the caibre worker processes used to download metadata.

that's what I was thinking too. I recently changed laptops and am now running windows 11. I don't believe I have any third party antivirus/firewall/security program but just the build in windows security. Should I try turning that off?

Reboot in safe mode thats the easiest way to check.

Probably be one of your start up tasks, you can use Task Manager's Disable feature to help determine which one by a process of elimination.
