Hi, my Clara HD has entered in bootloop recently, and inspecting the internal microsd card it seems that some blocks are damaged. Can anyone please send me a SDcard image for restoring it? Thank you all so much!!!

Hello,

I bricked my Clara HD this morning somehow. I've tried all the steps to force reset, but they aren't working. It's stuck with a Power symbol that's crossed out and 2 dots that don't move. Is it possible to be sent the IMG so I can try fixing it?

Clara HD SD Image Needed
Hello,

I bought an (unknown) bricked Clara HD and am trying to revive it. Every time I try to image the SD, my computer wants to format (and erase) it. Could I have an SD image for the Clara HD or is there a good method to image the SD without formatting/erasing it?

Do you mean Windows wants to format the card after you have written the image to it? If so, that is just Windows being Windows. It does not like removable media with multiple partitions, and two of those partitions are not formatted with a file system that Windows understands. So Windows decides that the card should be formatted.

Of course, when you do the imaging, it does have to write the image to the card and the tools usually prompt with a warning that all data will be lost. But, that is what must be done.

Hello, new here. I have a bricked Clara HD and I am looking for an image to reimage/replace the SD card.

I have tried to reset but no luck. Screen "flashes" twice, turns white, and then the power LED flashes non stop.

Any help appreciated! This is my third Kobo (one cracked screen, one frozen never to respond again) and not looking forward to buying a fourth.
