In the case of the Libra 2s SD card I believe the answer was yes, but it was probably not worth it because it would remove the waterproofing and you had to be very careful about getting all the adhesive etc off before putting in a new card. So something to try as a last resort to revive the Libra 2 should the original card fail.

Got my official cover today. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Totally. The difference in quality and design are quite apparent: the Sage just sits effortlessly on the magnetic back, and it maintains the original dimensions (the unofficial cover adds bulk). And it really is easy to pull out if needed (and there really is no need to remove it without reason). Should have just stumped up for this from the beginning. |

You're holding your iPhone wrong... Come on man. It is poorly designed and we all know it. Any of those Chinese third-party sleep covers that shared this design principle would be lambasted and for good reason. Last edited by ZodWallop; 02-19-2022 at 12:04 PM.

Kobo designed the Sage with a power button. Kobo designed the Sage cover without access to that button (as per several posts here). That is a bad design. To pretend otherwise is to rationalize something simply because it is already your preferred choice. Quote:

Ouch. An unfortunate pronouncement coming from a man. Not for a man to call. In addition, in light of current gender awareness, man is seen as a term to be eschewed in the general sense. Don’t call me man. Or guy. Thanks. |

I have used a Sage in the Kobo cover. It was several days before I noticed the button was covered. At that point, it seemed like a weird designed, but, from my experience with all these devices, it's not a particularly surprising one.

Sorry, I am comfortable with my word choice. I'm from California where the sentence "oh man, sorry dude" wouldn't raise an eyebrow from anywhere in the gender scale.

Please let it go. This is not the forum to banter about gender sensitivities. He clearly didn’t intend to incite feelings of gender bias or discrimination. The fact that most of us hide behind gender neutral usernames makes it impossible to discern the preferred pronouns of those with whom we are corresponding. Your insinuation of “mansplaining” is just as offensive as the perceived gender bias you’re complaining about. He apologized for his choice of words. Take it or leave it, but let the confrontation end and let the forum get back onto topic.

Don’t tell someone to “let it go” and then proceed to have your say. Stop after “let it go.” When someone objects to something on the ground of inherent offensiveness, don’t double down on it. And watch the false equivalencies, to boot. Finally, while I prefer to avoid this, I am going to shut down this particular offshoot. As I can. Take it to PM if you must.
