feature request: fast book changes

hi all,
Koreader is the best reader I know ... what I missing is a solution as fast as possible switching between different books.

Two features I would request: I often wo or more books simultanously. It would be nice, to switch between 3 or 4 booksfast. For example on pocketbook with the task-Manager if possible.Or will I get a memory problem?

It would be nice to have book-List in koreader for switching between these books wih one tip.

Another similar feature were an fast exit: menu/exit, not menu/menu/exit/are your sure/yes. or a Macro/gesture for that?

And third, is there a possiblity to switch to the koreader book-manager only for look for a booktitles and then go back off the bookmanager without to load a new. Now I must load the book again.
Long term the book-manager within koreader could replace the book-manager of the e-reader?

Assign any gesture to any book.

Another way: add books to Favorites, assign any gesture to open Favorites list.

My setup is:
Gear menu -- Taps and gestures -- Gesture manager -- Tap corner -- Bottom left -- General -- History
Gear menu -- Taps and gestures -- Gesture manager -- Tap corner -- Bottom right -- General -- Open previous document
Like this, I can switch between the last two books by tapping bottom right, and access the list of previously read books by tapping bottom left. This sounds like something you might like, too.

We can of course use "History" to switch between the last opened books, but I think hol focuses on the fact that, in any case, the books need to be reloaded.

Thank very much for all suggestions, I'm glad, it solves my problems. For my ebook-reader is fast enough for me, theres no need to hold up more than one book in koreader. Anyway, with the gestures I'm very faster than to tap to and through the filemanager.

The filemanager ist for me not yet comfortable, because I can't go back without to load a book, and because every book is in its own author-folder (calibre structure), I cannot see and sort by Authors, Title, date of open and so on, as listed by pocketbook, for example

Did you try the calibre metadata search? I had the same issues with the filemanager, but when the metadata search came to the search menu, it solved most of the problems. You can search your library and look at the list without leaving the book, if you select one it gets loaded, but if you cancel it does not reload the book. Works for me.

Works for me too . Also you can long press one of the search result to show a popup with the document metadata (cover, author, tags, series...) without opening the book.

Thank you much, that's a very good idea. And providing an incentive making good metadata within calibre ...
