28 degrees F. and clear now. It was sunny on Thursday. We are expecting snow Friday night into Saturday. Most recent estimate I heard was 4-8 inches.

The snow started here a couple of hours ago. It should continue through noon tomorrow, and current estimates are that we should get between 4 and 8 inches of snow.

We lucked out - got about an inch of snow only - most is gone by now -- whew!

We had a bit of luck as well -- only 4 inches of snow. Shoveling the driveway is slow since the snow is dry, it's windy and the afternoon high temperature was 19°F. New snow drifts in as soon as you shovel a strip. Tomorrow is supposed to be cold as well but there should be less wind and at least a little sun, which will help keep the blacktop clear.

We got a foot, but the wind died down early so no issues with power, the key factor especially given how cold it’s going to get the next two nights. NBC Boston is reporting over 100,000 outages, so if I’m digging out over the next couple of days, it could have been far worse and I’m grateful.

As crazy as it sounds, have you tried a leaf blower? We use one now for the powdery type snow, not the wet heavy kind. As long as you don't step on the snow first and pack it down the blower usually works.

I've had luck using an electric powered leaf blower on light snow cover -- when I tried a gas powered one it melted the snow. But, we don't have a leaf blower these days.

5° and pouring down rain. A good day to stay in and enjoy a warm drink not to mention it beats the east coast weather.

Stormy. It isn't cold at 7C, but it's very windy and there is a persistent drizzle/rain. It should calming down by early afternoon.

Still wintry temps here (20's - 30's F) but sunny. Warming trend starting today - could hit 70 F by Friday

Sunny, 16 degrees, unhealthy air quality. Tomorrow brings warmer temps, then Wednesday we get slammed again with either heavy snow or heavy rain, depending on air currents etc. Tomorrow is errand day and taking my 91 year old mom to the store.
