They don't work, of course. I just change them from "Kobo eReader.conf".


P.S. I guess geek1011 works on "Nickelmenu" and will soon release the option so that it can be applied instantly.

Edit: Tested Dark Mode from NickelMenu and it's borked on my Sage. I was using Dark Mode from the Reading Settings on my Sage.

Check the link to v0.5.3 in message #1 or message #697. It should fix the issue with highlight selection, etc.

Edit: Dark Mode is still borked.

Doesn't seem to work on my Clara HD with latest firmware. I just get error:

unknown setting name 'dark_mode' (arg: 'toggle:dark mode') (src/action_cc_cc:356)

with following line, which worked fine with v5.2 (Post #555 attachment), in the config file:

menu_item :main :dark mode :nickel_setting :toggle :dark_mode

No, not yet. I did say the next release, but this was an emergency release. I'll hopefully have time to finish with dark mode next week, or @sherman might get to it before me.

You only need to use the KoboRoot.tgz from 'here'. If you have a github account, you can download the artifact from the first link or simply use the KoboRoot.tgz from the second link.

Yeah i was surprised too. BTW, does anyone know if this latest nickelmenu would work on fw 4.30 (Libra 2).

I plan to downgrade as the latest fw is a pain in the butt to restart/start.

Is there an option to change the font, line spacing and margins with one setting? Eg. A so-called Night Reading Mode with OpenDyslexic with font size 17, line spacing 0 and margins 4. Day Mode could be font default, font size 26, line spacing 2 and margins 4.
