I was wondering if the downgrader still works with the latest fw versions?
I stupidly let my PW3 update to 5.13.7 and want to go back to 5.11.2 if possible, without going the serial route.

@z12: The Downgrader has never supported anything newer than a PW2/KV, so FW version is kind of irrelevant in your case ;p.

Ah sad. I guess there is no other way to downgrade without opening the firmware?
it should technically be possible to just dd the old firmware in place into the root partition and force reboot before kernel has a chance to panic but I've never got hands on with kindle and a lot of things can go wrong this way

There is a Jailbreak listed under 'Packages Targeting the Kindle 5'. Can it be used to Jailbrake the latest Kindle Paperwhite Gen 11 2021?

Kual and Kual Coplate are basically the same thing but it's for different devices. Kual is basically the app you use to install the extras - like batterystatus, helper etc). Imagine it like a file browser. Certain devices (like mine, paperwhite) won't recognize Kual but it will install a Kual Coplate.

Kual + is basically Kual but with extra features but you need to install Kual/Kual Coplate before you can access it.

Use this link to figure out which version your kindle can use:

KUAL

KUAL+ is just a simple KUAL extension that touches stuff that is pretty KUAL-centric, as opposed to serve another specific purpose.
