It's available for sale on the Kobo UK website. I ordered it a few days before Christmas and expect to get it in a day or two.

Mine is still on the way and I expect it to arrive tomorrow or Thursday. Though I see it is back as "coming soon" on the Kobo UK site.

I don't recall it being available for pre-order on any U.S. site but I don't check every day.

Do you know if anyone has posted a photo of a Libra2 on top of a Sage, to show the size difference (for jacket pocket purposes)?
Try out the Forma. You get a great sized 8" screen like Sage, but with better battery life than Libra 2 and as lightweight.

How do you know the Forma has a better battery life than the Libra 2?

My Powercover has arrived and I am now charging it and the Sage. The Powercover can't be charged separately which I sort of expected based on the Kindle Oasis 1 precedent, though I might have hoped for something different. The battery indicator shows the % that both are charged (see picture) and they seem to both get charged simultaneously but with the cover charging more slowly as most of the power goes towards charging the device first.

The cover feels premium and is heavy and adds a lot of weight, but I expected this and I don't anticipate holding it anyway, but either resting it on a flat surface or removing it. Slightly disappointed that it is wider than the sleep cover to allow for the pen slot (which I don't anticipate using) but I knew this would be the case.

I'll report back on the covers usage in real time reading use.

Are you able to share exactly how much it weighs?

Not right now, though if I can find a pair of scales I will weight it. I probably will continue to use the Sage in the sleep cover when I'm out and about and leave the power cover at home.

It's 240 grams (surfaced some old kitchen scales!)

Wow, MUCH worse than I thought, nearly the weight of the reader itself. It had zero appeal when I thought it was half the weight of the reader, it is now very much less appealing, thanks.

Definitely not one for holding it in, but it feels solid and premium if you are reading on a flat surface.

Yeah, I react very badly to that adjective "premium", it gets my hackles up. It gets thrown about a lot in discussions of plastic versus metal, but from what I've seen basically seems to boil down to the idea that "heavy" = "premium quality" and "light" = "cheap, poor quality". I don't care whether something FEELS expensive, especially when the Sage already is stupidly expensive, for me.

What I do care about is the idea of a half kilo ereader, that's just appalling. I almost never read on a flat surface, and on those very rare occasions when I do, it's at my computer desk where I might just as well plug in my Sage and have it charging while reading without the burden of doubling it weight. I've even taken my Sage out of its regular sleep cover and will continue using it like that except when taking out of the house, which happens on average once a month or so.

That was not my meaning. It feels well made and quite luxurious to me but these things are subjective in large part.

I think the tone of my comment was such that the one thing no one would accuse it of being was objective
