Frakkin idiots in Kindle Support

Problem - I've have the June issue of Asimov's in my hand for a week, but it has yet to appear on my Kindle (I do have an active subscription) Sent support an email asking where was the June issue. Reply was that magazines like this are published monthly??? I replied that I was familiar with Asimov's publishing schedule, so where is the June Kindle edition. Next reply from them was that Asimov's has two double issues a year, so the next month there won't be one. I replied once more (for the 3rd time) that I am aware of that, but I have a June print issue so why don't I have a June Kindle issue. I'll see what the idiots have to say next. Anymore crap from them & I'm going over to Fictionwise to get my subscription.

It's not on Fictionwise either. I guess delay is at the publisher side.

Any known reason why it wouldn't publish simultaneously in print & electronic formats?

Don't you think you're being a little unfair referring to the Amazon support people as "Frakkin idiots"? It appears that they were telling you the truth in saying that it was not yet available.

OTOH, Kindle support has clearly demonstrated its frakkin' idocy on many occasions.

My experience is that more books appear in bookstores before the Kindle release date. In part this is because bookstores receive the books long before the release debt and very few bookstores really hold their books off the shelves until the release date(except for very high profile books)

I'm not denying that they were telling the truth about it not being available, but what I was asking was why? Had to call them to get an answer - Publisher had not yet uploaded, they would contact the publisher & get back to me. That's a fine answer, why wasn't it offered in the first email?

True, but this issue was mailed by the publisher, so they knew it was available.
