Does anyone have any experience with the soft TPU type covers? I don’t think I’ll be using it for reading, just for quick transport, do they stink? Do they stretch out of shape?
I've ordered ordered the green one of the second link for my Libra 2. I have a similar cover for the Libra h20, and they don't smell, and they work fine and they don't stretch out (although, I don't do much to them except put them in my purse when I go out, otherwise they sit at my desk with me, or by my chair.)

How long have you been using the cover I. The 2nd link? No real signs of wear/tear? Does it still function, does the sleep feature work properly? Does the cover add much weight?

It all works well. I have been using similar covers for all my e-readers. The cover is light and doesn't add much weight.

Received my libra 2. Texts are sharp but background color is darker than forma (with frontlight off). Speed is faster compared to forma. The extra 20ish grams is much more noticeable than I expected.

Third party TPU covers are fine. I use one on my forma. It doesn't stink and is quite easy to put ereader in or take out. After more than two years of heavy use, it remains in good shape apart from some minor signs of wear on the edge.
