I received it, created a sd with it... but it is still frozen. Something more is happening; like the backlight works again and I got part of the screen refreshed. But it doesn't want to restart or doing a hardware reset. Is there an other certain button order I can try? (off and pushin it for at least 30 seconds connected to power doesn't do anything).

The screen partly updating suggests it is damaged. If there are angular lines on it that could be the case. If the screen is OK, and you are following the instructions on https://help.kobo.com/hc/en-us/artic...or-Kobo-Elipsa and it doesn't work, then l don't know what to suggest.
