The Libra 2 screen is heavier enough to make it heavier then the Forma.
This doesn't explain why Libra 2 is thicker and heavier than the H2O

They *are* sucky. You have to press them in very specific spots. They don't seem to accommodate a wide range of people either. I think their scientists were too busy thinking about how to make them hard to press accidentally they forgot to make them easy to press on purpose.

Agree.

Yes, I think the Forma is the e-reader that has the best ratio between screen size and weight.

Did anyone have a chance to compare the screen to Pocketbook InkPad 3? How does PB compare in terms of screen quality/contrast - is it similar to Libra 2/PW 3/PW 5? I've had those so have a point of reference.

I have no idea about the PB Inkpad 3. But of the Kindles mention, the PW5'sscreen is muddy and less detailed then the PW3 and the Libra 2 is better then the PW3/PW5 for detailed images.

Inkpad 3 contrast (blacks) is little bit better than Libra H2O, but worse than Libra 2.

Whites are, i would say almost the same across all three devices (Libra 2 is probably little bit better, but difference is negligible).

Libra 2 has best frontlight, it's perfectly even and more orange. Inkpad 3 is in second place, frontlight is almost even, with warmlight on there is some unevenness, but it doesn't botter me as much because it's on the bottom of the screen (Libra H2O has leds on the side, so unevenness bothers me a lot more, because it's visible on almost every line), it is more orange than Libra H2O, but less than Libra 2.

Edit: Inkpad 3 is great reader, but it has one big design flaw, there is a big hole in the plastic plate which should seperate screen and other internals, battery lays in the middle of the hole and is glued directly to the screen, (they fixed that "design flaw" with Inkpad Color), so you have to be extra careful with it. I broke two screens, first one, on the same day i got it, it fell from the table on the side opposite from the screen, second one few days ago (it was bought in the middle of 2019), i still don't know how, it was always in the protective case, on my nightstand, it never fell down.

Thanks, looks like Libra 2 should be a good choice after all - I'm returning my PW5, but was thinking about InkPad 3 for a while (bigger screen, low weight).

Hi,
I just purchased the libra 2, and there's something that bothers me. On the edge of the screen near the page turn button, there's a strip (or maybe a zone) that is slightly dimmer than the rest of the screen. It is extremely subtle and I can't even capture it on camera. However once I noticed it, somehow I can't unsee it.
Is anyone else having the same issue on libra 2?
Thanks.

I don't see that on mine. The lighting on my Libra 2 screen is very uniform.

For what it's worth, 'my' Libra 2 arrived today. My wife thinks it has a bit better screen so she has returned the Libra H₂O to my hands. She does like the buttons feel and position.
