Can Calibre correct all spelling mistakes at once?

Hi, I have an epub file that has more than 4000 misspelled words, mostly from badly done OCR such as two words with no space between them.

I want to fix this but the spellcheck screen in Edit Books allows me to change each one word at a time. I don't want to click four thousand times, how can I do this quicker? |

Use the function mode of search and replace. Something like: https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/fun...phenated-words

If anyone can point me to a working solution, it would be greatly appreciated. |

There are also a number of threads in the Workshop and Epub forums that address techniques and tools that that can be used to correct OCR generated 'errors'. I use a couple of Word Addins, eBook-tools and Translator Tools , you'll find links to both in this thread =>> Index of Useful Links for Book Creators BR |

One thing to keep in mind is that no automated technique is going to be able to correct all spelling errors so you will still need to carefully proofread the document. This is even more true with OCR where words being spelled correctly but incorrectly used is rather common.
