Troubles with dark mode after upgrading to 4.30.18838 firmware
Hello,

I'm using a Clara HD Nickel Menu and I'm facing troubles with DarkMode. While in version 4.28.18220 I remarked that dark mode is inverted, when I enable it it displays disabled and when I disable it It displays enabled and the effect is inverted. However, a part from this it was OK, Home page and margins where white and the reading pages can switch from white to black ...

This morning I upgraded to 4.30.18838 and since then, the home page and marging are black now, I can still toggle dark mode in reading pages, but the home page and margin are continuously dark ... I tried uninstalling NickelMenu, downgrading to prevous firmware ... nothing works ...

Does somebody else faced the same issue?

Saw your other post and misread it.

That sounds a lot like you have turned in the Invert Screen. That affects all parts of the UI. But, also inverts images. You can still turn on Dark Mode, but, from memory, it means the inverted screen is inverted when reading. If you are seeing white on black when reading, I think that means you actually have Dark Mode turned off.

InvertScreen=true
and delete it. Restart the device.

What seems to be the problem on my friend's Clra HD. Darkmode throws this error.

That looks like an error from NickelMenu. Either they have the wrong version of NickelMenu or they have an error in the configuration.

THank you. It turned out, she was indeed using the wrong version of Nickel Menu.
