I've read and liked all three of Rozlan Mohd Noor's Inspector Mislan books that have been translated into English. The books are set in Kuala Lumpur, and the author is a former Malaysian police officer, so he's writing what he knows. And I personally really enjoy reading police procedurals set in places that aren't the US or the UK . Right now the second book in the series, DUKE: Inspector Mislan and the Expressway Murders, is $1.99 at at Kindle US, as part of the Kindle US Black Friday sale, good through 29 Nov 2021. It’s not matched at Kobo US, at least as of now.

I liked the first two mysteries in Max Tomlinson's Colleen Hayes series. The series is sort of a detective-procedural series, mixed with a touch of noir, set in 1970s San Francisco. (Disclaimer: I lived near San Francisco in the 1970s, so I have a bit of fondness for the locale.) Now the third in the series, Bad Scene, is on sale for $1.99 at Kindle US.

Colorblind is the fifth and next-to-most-recent (2018) in Reed Farrel Coleman's continuation of Robert B Parker's Jesse Stone series. Although continuation series can be IMO hit-or-miss, I've enjoyed the titles I've read in this one. Colorblind has dropped to $1.99 at Kindle and Kobo US.
