I cannot say that has ever worked for me.

But apparently there’s a new setup option now, whereby the Kindle app for iOS or Android will share the WiFi setting when nearby. Not sure if you get to choose between 2.4 and 5 GHz.

Before this the easiest way was WPS (if your WAP supports that).

Well despite being a brand new product, the new paperwhite kids edition with no ads and a cover, is now on sale for $114.99. If you've been on the fence about getting the new paperwhite, now is a good time to get this edition! It's exactly the same as the "regular" paperwhite, only better.

As booklover6 said, it does not have adds. Because you don't have to pay to get rid of the adds, the overall package is cheaper than buying a normal PW.

The thing I don’t understand about the Kids Edition is that in the past, it is on a different update path than the regular one. So what is actually different about the software?
