Patch or no, when you rotate the reader the button positions switch. So if, say, the bottom button was page forward and you switch hands the bottom button should remain page forward.

- This the is the first white ereader I have owned and I love the look of it! I have owned black Kindles and Kobos for over 10 years, and it's so refreshing to have a different colour. The white Libra 2 complemented really well with the red sleep cover.
I have an old model Nook Glowlight Plus with the white screen border and I do really like it.

Though to be honest, when reading the Nook's white border and the Clara's back border both fade away equally well.

Hand, not device position. I imagine they shift their hand up and down along the button side, as the buttons for the Libra 2 and Sage are spaced out a bit.

JosieB, I think you are going to love your Libra 2. I thought I would never go down to 7 inches from my Forma, or accept a recessed screen, but the Libra 2 is so beautiful in the sharpness and contrast of its display, with no unevenness, that I've become a fan. 18 grams heavier than the Forma, but unlike the Sage, that's a tolerable increment for me. And battery life has been great.

It doesn't make sense that the 7" Libra 2 is heavier than the 8" Forma. This is a potential deal breaker for me. I'll have to see how it goes when I get it because I don't have normal hand and the weight may tip over the line for me :/

Don’t get the wrong impression based on this comment. The Forma was unique and weighted less than it should have normally have. It uses a screen with plastic substrate that allowed it to be super light. The Libra is more in the norm of what we’re used with ereaders.

It's been reported to kobo, and escalated.
I tried that, but can't find an estimated delivery time anywhere. Might as well wait till JB Hifi get them next month.

They don't show a delivery time before the order. And I think it took a day until it showed after my order.

That's not very good, but anyway, how long is delivery going to take?

I ordered at about 8:15am on 26/10/2021. It reached here at 1pm on 04/11/2021 (the postman interrupted me posting here). I'm in Gosford. From the tracking, it came from Sydney and apparently took three days to get from somewhere in Sydney to the local mail sorting centre.

What card are you going to use on the Kobo device store?

From the eink website, a Carta 1200 8" flexiable screen weighs 28g. A Carta 7.8 Glass screen weighs 37g. So a difference of 9g.

A Kobo Sage weighs 240g. A Forma 197g. So a difference of 43 grams.

Taking out the 9g, that's 34g. So why the extra 34g, beefing it up for a glass substrate?

And it is interesting that the eink site doesn't list a Carta 1200 8" glass substrate panel? Are we sure that the Sage doesn't have a plastic substrate? They also don't list a 8" mobius panel.

Do you mean what credit card? I suppose Paypal will work.
