I tried to get one yesterday when it became available at 7pm ET and struck out. I kept getting add to cart followed by not available and the process kept repeating itself over and over and over and over again. So I gave up figuring Walmart's website had no clue as to what it was doing. I tried later on that night and the same thing happened.

Then at around 10am this morning, I tried again and got one with a delivery date of tomorrow.

That gets my vote. I went through several months where every time I tried to search for anything on Walmart's website it would make me solve a CAPTCHA "for account security." Even though I wasn't logged in and had last logged in several months ago. And on repeated searches within minutes of each other.

It was such a hassle I started searching their site using Google instead, or used the app.

Target's got an Element 65-inch 4K TV with HDR10 and built-in Roku for $299 through Saturday.

I know it's Black Friday Quarter season, but it's amazing how cheap HDTVs have gotten.

I use the Walmart app on my iPad to order groceries for pickup. Very convenient, but they are constantly updating the app and changing how it works. Some of the updates are a step backwards. It isn’t always that accurate with which items are actually available though.

That's what was happening to me last night when I tried to get the TV. Add to cart, get popup that it was not available, add to cart again, rinse and repeat. Then finally it showed out of stock, and told me it would be available in-store on Friday, at which point I gave up. It was only on a whim that I checked again earlier today, and I was really shocked that the order went through, and I'll supposedly get the TV tomorrow.

When I was updating my account info at Walmart, they wanted me to verify my email and phone. I had no problems verifying my phone, but ran into a big problem trying to verify my email. I entered the code they sent me and it was rejected. I did the resend two more times yielding the same results. So I move on and said to heck with it.

Black Quarter - aptly put!

This year is worse than last year. It's starting way too early and stores are having way too many sales events with way too many start times. It's hard keeping up with them. How I long for the days when they only had one ad with a short 3 to 4 day sales period.

I also got that out of stock and available in-store on Friday bit. I really didn't expect to get it when I tried again this morning.

As to getting my delivery by tomorrow, I remain highly skeptical. We shall see.

I hear ya. But then, I have a Costco Visa card that rewards me with 2% back on all Costco purchases and 4% back on all gas purchases. That combination more than covers the cost of my membership.

Walmart told me delivery would be today (Friday) when I ordered on Thursday, but now the site is showing my order is delayed. Which means nothing to me--delayed a day? a week? a month? I wish they'd give me a time frame so I can be on the lookout for it and grab it before someone walks off with it if they just leave it.

Walmart's also showing "delivery from store" rather than shipping--delivery from store is not an option I use, and one that I thought involved scheduling a time slot, which I know for sure I didn't do. So they have me totally confused now.

I just checked my order and it's also delayed. This has happened to me before.

Walmart sucks at on-time delivery!
