Wow that first video has me more split than I was before on this PW vs Libra 2 thing.

I love KO Reader though and being able to have no wasted space from stupid conservative margins, so the Kobo is winning.

I think the Libra 2 has the better screen.

It's both funny and unsurprising that you would claim the two screens are "not even close" in quality. And yet probably 90% of average users would claim they're "very close" including Nathan from e-reader.

For the end of "not even close", if you quote something I said, please do it correctly, cause it's not even in the message you quoted from me. Cause I didn't mention how close or not they were in this message.

I don't have a Forma, so I can't compare the Sage or Libra to it. But I can extrapole from information I glanced here. The few people I've read comparing them concluded the Sage had better darker blacks and more even lights in most cases.
I own the Sage and Libra2, if you're interested, go check my messages but the Libra2 surprised me by having the slightly better screen in term of contrast, but clearly better in term of lighting. I even posted pictures beside Paperwhite 4, Voyage and Libra H2O in one of the topics.

I think Almamida was talking about Libra 2 vs PW5. I agree that Nate's video doesn't show much if any difference (the Libra has a bit of green tint to my eyes). However, the goodereader video shows the two side by side in dark mode and reading pdf and in both use cases the Libra 2 has noticeably blacker black.

You meant Mezzanine ?

For the PW5 vs Libra 2, I agree with the video shown bygoodereader, I also have both of them, and the Libra 2 has the best screen in term of sharpness / contract / blacks.
I'm about to send back the PW5 and stick with the Voyage until an eventual new premium gets out.

In Nate's video, the Libra has better contrast in the AOT Manga. Look at the page where the houses were shown.

I got my Libra 2 yesterday. It is really good comparing to PW4. Better contrast, better kerning, everything...

But there is a suspicious thing... When I touch the backplate softly it seems it flexes and hits somewhere thus makes little click noise.

I expect it to be sturdy. Is it common or uniquely bad manufacturing?

Mine can do it if I press a very specific spot.
That's something that does not surprise me about a Kobo e-reader. Few years ago when I was sure I would chose the Kobo Glo HD over the Voyage, having it in my hands put me off. It made a lot of noise like this and didn't feel as sturdy as the Voyage (Not the same budget neither)
