The browser cache feature hasn't been working for me anytime I try to download a story I get this error: cloudscraper reports: (Detected a Cloudflare version 2 Captcha challenge, This feature is not available....)

I'm trying to download from fanfiction.net. It does this for all stories weather I'm trying to download just one or more.

If you're getting that error, it's still trying to use cloudscraper because you don't have browser cache set up correctly.

No, I didn't, so that's why. I use NSAPA proxy instead of flaresolverr, with NSAPA enabled the site works just fine.

New Test Version Posted

- Code for FlareSolverr v2.0.X, can't handle images.
- Update translations.

I'm planning to release in the next day or two.

Known issues:
- FFF can use FlareSolverr v2 now, but images will not work.
- wuxiaworld.site is now using cloudflare blocking also, plus the site has changed.
- Contributed readnovelfull.com code is not included. While I would like to encourage code contributions, I don't want to add a new site that requires a proxy right from the start.

I figured it out i had to turn on use browser cache only on true I wasn't using that setting before

I did the first and last chapter and when I got the error I clicked through each chapter and tried again to no success. I wish FF.net would quit messing around with things.

Thank you so much for this excellent plugin JimmXinu, I recently got back into fanfic after a couple of years pause and being able to get pretty much everything on my ereader with just a click has been revolutionary

I've been wondering if anyone looked at integrating with fictionalley-archive.org - the FictionAlley backup copy basically. I might attempt it myself when I've got some time off but it would be my first time working with someone else's code so it feels a bit daunting, ha.

That story downloaded fine for me through browser cache.

We've been seeing some users have random problems with browser caches that I can't replicate.

Given that we support three completely different browser cache types, and that we generally 'borrowed' the cache reading implementations without deep understanding of how they work (at least, I don't), it's not hugely surprising that there may be corner cases that don't work. Without seeing the problem for myself, it may not be fixable; or at least not by me.

My best advice right now is:

1. Clear your browser cache, try again,
2. Try a different browser or FFD cache, or;
3. Try one of the proxies instead.
