Swiping makes it even worse. Leaves a large blur. Not immediately, but after a few times it's very noticeable.

As I've said before, my skin, especially on my palms and fingers, is not particularly dry and that's probably the issue.

I nearly bought my Forma from Argos, but they didn't have the 32gb model in stock. Agree it is a lot simpler!

Argos stock in the past was always the advert carrying versions of Kindles.

I prefer Argos simply because I can get a swap or refund even the same day. They do still have stock of original Libra at @ €170 approx but the listed approx €180 Libra 2 are still unavailable.

Very many items here are now listed as stock but when in store on the details on terminal screen it offered as Order and Collect in a few days to a week. Pointless. But "Out of Stock" now seems to be euphemism for we are not selling again ever. Now no-one selling sodastream machines here supplies the refill CO2!

Does anyone have a "My Notebooks" icon at the bottom of their home screen after creating a notebook and using the Stylus?

Thank you. I think it just proves that no matter how good a screen may be it’s useless if something is off with the LEDs. Mine must be a Friday afternoon job . I am very disappointed. If Kobo was more like Amazon I may have tried a replacement but their buying experience is so long winded and convoluted that I’ll just be happy to eventually get a refund.

I'd get the refund, hang in there for awhile, order your Sage later.

I went through an exchange process with Kobo once, back when I bought my first Kobo, the Aura HD. First one that arrived had both a randomly flickering front light and the tendency to jump several pages forward each time I started reading.

The second one they sent had pinholes in the light layer. I had to exchange again. It was literally TWO MONTHS after purchasing before I finally had a working Kobo Aura HD in hand and that one was THE WRONG COLOR. But I couldn't stand the thought of going through yet another exchange, so I learned to love the espresso brown instead of the white reader I wanted.

After that first experience buying direct from Kobo, I've not had the urge to buy direct again. My Aura One came from Chapters, the Forma from Amazon.

Since the Sage has buttons, I wanted to make sure the swipe function is still available since that is what I've been using for a long time with my KA1.

I've managed to install the Bookerly font correctly on my Sage. It might be silly for some, but I've used this font since I've bought my Voyage, and it feels so comfortable to have it. It feels like home.

I use that font too. Nothing else seems to work for me anymore.
