Mine is now at Crayford, even nearer to me. Surely it must get here today. Fortunately I am in all day today.

There is a reason I never saw mentioned about why buttons are important to me, and I miss them on the otherwise perfect for me Elipsa: I have some 5600 books on my readers, and over 100 collections. While navigating the collections is no problem with the right hand line, it definitely is with navigating the books: when clicking the bottom arrow to advance one page at a time, I keep opening the book next to it, and having to restore its state when it was "unread" or "read", just close it when it was "reading", but still annoying.
The buttons are well positioned for me on the Sage, but I think I can understand why there are none on the Elipsa: if centered they would be too high for the way I hold it, and if not they would only work for right hand or left hand reading, and I alternate hands for comfort, or depending on where I'm sitting.

Even if I did not have so many books, I do like to use buttons, and to have the choice of buttons/tapping/swiping, which gives me many possibilities to go back and forth while reading one handed when necessary.
A lot of people prefer to load all their books onto their reader and this choice has always perplexed me. I feel like I would find it unmanageable to have thousands of books on my reader from a navigation perspective, but also because of the impracticality of choosing from thousands of books to read.

I guess the advantage is not having to load new books onto your device ever. You can carry your library with you and decide what book you want to read before you search it out on your device.

I have over 1200 on my Forma, all fan fiction, sideloaded via Calibre. They are in collections, every genre has a read and unread collection. These are ebooks I create myself from word documents. Fan Fiction can disappear as things get taken down so I am always creating ebooks. I never know what I feel like reading so it’s nice to have everything in Calibre and on my e-reader.

Mine is here! As an aside the TNT driver knocked so quietly I didn't hear him until the card dating sorry we missed you dropped. Fortunately he left it with a neighbour. And that is despite me having a brand new front door with a bright shiny and very obvious knocker lol.

I also keep all my ebooks on my Forma currently, nearly 6000. It's my portable library.

Luckily, I have a Forma sleeve in which my Sage fits, albeit a slightly tight squeeze. Will do until the cover arrives and provide enough protection for me to take it out and about.

If you are in the UK and your order was sent via TNT they deliver it. Mines here too now.

I hate to say it but I am unhappy with mine. Very disappointed. I have a large jagged white line running along the right hand side, and my base screen is yellow. Not sure if you can see it in the picture. The Sage is on the left, the Forma on the right. It’s not acceptable for a £250 e-reader.

Yay! Finally
(Even if it was not so long as you ordered it after release date)

On my side I never thought I would transfer my entire library to a reader, but now that I use a Kobo as my main device, I should take a look at all the possibilities to keep everything in sync between calibre and my Sage.

It could be so handy to have everything loaded.

Try to factory reset or even manual reset.

Try turning up the colored light and see how it looks.
