Received the Kobo Libra 2 today

No problems at all. It came with a 60% charge on it. After it charged and I got wifi working, it did the latest update and then asked me for my wifi password again. I read that this happened to someone else.

Since I'm new to Kobo, I'd like to know if there's a shortcut...while you're reading...to see the battery percentage? The settings gear won't produce it. Nothing I clicked on seem to bring it up without getting completely out of the book I'm reading. Any trick I don't know?

It showed up on my Mac desktop without issues and let me drag some ebooks I had right onto the Libra 2. They all showed up and worked flawlessly. I love the light settings and responsiveness of the page turn buttons. Their position doesn't bother me...yet. Maybe after I read longer than an hour to test it I'll find them a pain. As of now, it's a keeper. I ordered a pouch from Amazon that I'll stick it in when I'm not using it. It's padded and fits very well. I hate cases on an ebook reader. That's it. Oh, one last thing...it requires a signature from UPS to receive it. I saw the girl walking up to the door. She set it down with my pouch and turned tail and left. No signature was requested. Go figure.

To get the battery percentage while you’re in a book, press the middle of the screen so that your battery icon shows. Then press the corner where the icon is and you should get the percentage. It is finicky so you may need to do it a couple of times.

My UPS driver handed me my package and was going to walk away when I reminded him of the apparent need for my signature. He asked my last name and typed it onto his device. It was very late when he got here (8pm) and I think he probably just wanted to finish his deliveries and go home.

Thank you. The battery icon is on a strip of icons on the home and library screen. When reading a book, it's above the strip of icons. But I have to admit that it was sitting right there in front of me.
